..and thanks for dropping in to find out a little more about me. This site gives me the opportunity to share with you my two biggest passions in life: wildlife and art. I can't remember a time when I haven't been creating art but it wasn't until 2004 that, inspired by my experiences in Africa, I decided to become a full-time wildlife artist. Whilst I'm primarily a pencil artist, recently I've experimented with an umber acrylic wash on a couple of my pictures, just to see what effect this had on my work. Having tried it, I've found that my preference is to work solely in pencil, as this gives me a better feel for subtle tones and textures. Take a look in my gallery and see what you think.
Another thing I'm keen to do is to place animals within a landscape. I'd like to be able to capture some of the amazing backdrop of Africa in my work.

Pictures are sold mounted but unframed. Prices are exclusive of postage and packing.
My work is often displayed at the Duffield Art Gallery near Belper, Derbyshire, and pieces exhibited there can be purchased directly from the gallery.
